“I am currently a PhD student at the Strange lab under the ERC project ‘’RememberEX’’. During my PhD I will predominantly use fMRI and MEG as well as conduct behavioral testing to study the circuitry involved in memory.
I studied Psychology at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Then, I moved to London, where I did the MSc in Neuroscience at King’s College London. During my dissertation, I used autoradiography to study the effects of chronic haloperidol exposure on benzodiazepine-sensitive and alpha 5 GABAA receptors under the supervision of Dr. Gemma Modinos and Dr. Anthony Vernon. Afterwards, I worked at King’s as a research assistant in the BRAIN Centre on a project characterizing the neuroinflammatory protein TSPO, primarily using immunofluorescence and autoradiography techniques.”
