Research Interest: neuronal oscillations related to cognition and behavior.
“I am a postdoctoral researcher interested in how neuronal oscillations shape cognition and behavior. At Strange Lab I am focusing on how hippocampus, amygdala and other subcortical nuclei interact to each other to produce memories. To do tackle this question I use invasive intracraneal EEG recordings in humans also in combination with MEG recordings.
I obtained my PhD at the Donders Institute under the supervision of Ole Jensen and Roshan Cools studying the alpha and gamma modulations during working memory using pharmaco-MEG. Before moving to the Strange Lab, I worked in Rufin VanRullen lab investigating the travelling wave properties of the alpha rhythm and in Josep Dalmau lab studying EEG sleep abnormalities in patients suffering anti-NMDA receptor encephalitis.”
